About the club...
Kobukan Karate Club was founded in Windsor in 1973 by Sensei Roger
Carpenter, 6th Dan, Chief Instructor of SKKIF. Over the past 30
years Sensei Carpenter has taught traditional Shotokan karate to
many hundreds of students in the Windsor area, many of whom have
progressed to 1st Dan black belt and beyond. Sensei Carpenter oversees
the SKKIF organisation in the UK and visits each club twice yearly
to ensure consistency of training and to maintain appropriate standards
within each club.
